This program has been designed for students who didn’t meet the entry requirements for the Bachelor of Education through the VTAC (or direct) selection process. A unit or 'subject' is the actual class you'll attend in the process of completing a course. Certificate IV in Liberal Arts (or equivalent).

Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation (or equivalent).

Each unit is worth a set amount of study credits based on the amount of time you study. Generally, 1 credit is equal to 1 hour of study per week. Based on your selection/s, you will need to view information for applicants with Vocational Education and Training (VET/TAFE) study. If you have completed secondary education more than 2 year ago (prior to 2017) you will need to view information for applicants with work/life experience. This information is for applicants who left secondary school more than two years ago and who have not undertaken VET or higher education study since then. For specialisation in Case Management at least 4 Group A electives must be selected for award of the Diploma of Community Services.

(e. g. special consideration alone, audition alone, schools recommendation scheme with no minimum ATAR requirement) Successful completion earns you a place in the second year of the Bachelor of Education (P-12), where you’ll learn to teach all age groups – from prep to Year 12. Workers are usually providing direct support to individuals or groups of individuals. Workers may also have responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers and/or case management; program coordination or the development of new business opportunities. Funding support and employer incentives might be available under the Australian Apprenticeships Incentive Program. Individuals completing their first post-school Certificate III qualification in Queensland could be eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee subsidy. Higher Level Skills Funding may also be available for this training.
